Hello! We am so happy to have this shoot up on the blog. This was such a fun shoot to work on and the images are simply BREATHTAKING. We were very excited to be asked to work with Kimbry and hope to work with them again. Everyone that contributed to this shoot made it perfect.

Unbridled

We are so excited to share a preview of this amazing shoot that we did yesterday. We worked with Kimbry Photography and what they created was amazing. 

The shoot was inspired by the word "Unbridled"

Tahnee was asked to create a beautiful fishtail braids. A tighter fishtail at the crown followed by a looser one at the bottom. The final product was perfect. The Juniper crown added just the right touch to the hair. 

Michelle was asked to create a look that was wilder and more mature for her. The blending and contouring needed to bring out a little more cheekbone so she looked older and more wild. Eyes were to be kept clean but smokey and a very natural full eyebrow. Jayde was the perfect model with the most amazing skin and over gorgeous look.

Lets be honest... We LOVE doing makeovers! We are so excited to share this Transformation Tuesday with you.

Meet Melissa! She is a natural redhead (jealous) with three kids and a wonderful husband. As you can see she has a lot of natural beauty and we simply wanted to enhance it. We wanted to give her a gorgeous soft curled look with a soft makeup look to match.

Hi! Welcome to the BE PRETTY blog! We are beyond excited to introduce our brand new blog. Here we will share all the events we participate in whether it is senior pictures, engagements, a wedding or just one of those days that needs a little “oomph” to it.  We specialize in Professional Hair & Airbrush Makeup for all events. Not to mention, we will be adding tutorials and tricks to help you with your everyday routine!

We are Michelle & Tahnee, the brains behind Be Pretty business.  Be Pretty Hair & Makeup began this year when both Michelle and I were itching to share our creative sides within the beauty industry once again.  After working in a salon together for some time, we both knew starting a business together was the perfect way we could not only stay home with our kids, but also continue doing what we love within the beauty world.

Tahnee: I ADORE my family. I really do. My kids definitely keep me on my toes. I just love them. However, we as women need our “me time” and have that needed break. My “me time” means continuing doing what I love each day and helping others feel beautiful for their special events! It is so fun for me to just play with hair and create something special for a client. I am a professional in the art of intricate hair design. I live for designing hair that expresses your personal style. “You don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.” I love this quote.  Be fearless and embrace your beauty because no matter what you think there is something beautiful about everyone.

Michelle: “There is no better feeling than being able to stay home and be a mom and continue working with my passion, makeup. I cannot imagine life without my kids. I love them even throughout all the crazy. However, having five kids means this mom needs to hit the pause button sometimes! I feel my best when I can sit down and just play with makeup. What is more fun than that? Simply put, I am makeup OBSESSED. I am a Professional Makeup Artist & specialize in the art of FLAWLESS makeup. Bobbi Brown said, “I believe all women are PRETTY without makeup, and can BE PRETTY powerful with the right makeup". This quote is exactly how I feel about makeup.
